relief but a bit of sadness
I got my first PP period today. Since I didn't BF, I thought that I'd get my PP visit a bit sooner, but no, it's close to 10 weeks. If I hit 12 weeks without it, I was taking a test. The strangest thing for me right now is that in a way I wouldn't have been upset about being PG again that soon. I would have been a bit embarassed at work or with certain people, but in general, I would have liked it. Now I'm kind of confused about what to do regarding plans for #2. Me and Bri had a talk last night and decided that we want an 8 day trip to Jamaica without C next Spring/Summer. He's saying Summer; I'm pushing Spring. I really kind of wanted to have the kids back to back but now with a definite vacation plan in place maybe we should take a break. I want both of course (another baby and vacation.) Why does pregnancy have to be so long?! If I wasn't such a big drinker I would plan on a big vacation while PG, but after the last babymoon, I realized that vacation w/o alcohol isn't that fun.
This was really just a vent and a look inside my head right now.
ETA: I forgot to mention, I was secretly hoping that we would have to take a test. This is what equals the sadness.

I can def. relate. I would love to start trying for #2 right now, but my doctor decided on Friday I have to wait at least 3 more months before discussing going off BC.
I agree, why the heck does it have to be so long, I mean the first time around the 9 months were great for me to get used to the idea of being a parent. The fact that I've been doing it for 8 months now and I'm crazy enough to want to do it again makes me feel like #2 should have a shorter baking time. I'm already pre-heated dangit.
How about early spring? Jamacia in the end of Feb sounds like a dream, and maybe you'll get KU on the trip?

In all seriousness, this wouldn't be a bad idea. Our first vacation together was at RC. I think that we're going to Ocho Rios or Negril this time, but I would definitely be up for a day trip to MoBay to hang out with you! Let me know your dates of travel. I can use it as an excuse to Bri as to why we need to go in May.
We are already booked, so we are definitely going! We are staying at the Carlyle Inn & the wedding is at RC. I'm sure we'll be spending most to all of our time at the RC though.
We will be there from Thursday, May 12th through Monday, May 16th. The wedding is on Saturday, May 14th so that is the only day that we will be busy! Keep me posted!! Having destination G2G's seem to be my thing!! LOL

I will also be in Aruba right before I head to jamaica (Jaye it's really too bad our dates are not crossing!) so this would work for me too!
