Hi Ladies! I work at a University Bookstore and we are planning a scavenger hunt for all the students on campus, if they would like to participate. I have some ideas, but being the wonderful clever ladies you are, I would love to hear some of yours. All ideas welcome! Thanks!

Things for them to find and to take photos of. Needs to be safe of course and not too scary. Don't think my bosses would go for scary. Anything halloweeny realted :-) Operating the hunt is no problem. Just ideas to include.
Ah, ok! It would be cute if you could mark certain locations on campus with something - like a spiderweb or pumpkin w/your bookstore's name on it? That way you are advertising to people who aren't even involved in the hunt. However, I also know from experience that college students tend to destroy things, so they might tear something like that down...
With you being the bookstore, maybe you could have a stop be at the library for a book that's Halloween related? Like The Legend of Sleepy Hollow or something? If they're doing it alone it wouldn't be too distracting in the library I wouldn't think.
Maybe things on campus that kind of look like Halloween items? If there are soccer fields, the nets could be spiderwebs. Any big planters that look like a witch's cauldron? A spooky dead tree? If there's a medical program maybe they have skeleton models?

We have a skeleton model on our medical campus which we are already including. We also have the Hull House on campus, so there is your haunted place right there. I like the library idea and posting things around campus. I wonder how much the campus will let us do. But definitely a bunch of destructo kids, so have to find a a way around that.
The last campus where I worked (I worked for a contracted food service company) we had this little kid-ish coloring thing the company had us do and we got calls from maintenence saying they kept finding crayons in the heating vents and would we please take the crayons away from them. *sigh*

I can only imagine the turmoil that would erupt if we gave them stuff to use.
