WWYD? Kinda Baby Related.

I have a problem.

Last weekend DH and I and his aunt and uncle and their 2 kids went to Kings Dominion. Had an absolute blast.

Well they are already talking about going to Busch Gardens the last weekend of October.

We just spent $250 going up to Kings Dominion for the weekend and a package for Busch Gardens will be about $300 for DH and I, not including food.

I am the only one working currently. We are trying for a baby ( I am actually testing this weekend!) and whatever left over money we have at the end of the month I would rather put into savings in case we do get pregnant.

And the off chance that this test comes up postive I really don't want to spend 2 days in Busch Gardens just watching DH and his dad and uncle get on roller coasters that I want to be on..

I know how badly DH wants to go, but I also know that amount of money could potentially be half of the crib money for a baby, or almost a complete stock of cloth diapers.

I know everyone says don't plan your life on the off chance you'll get pregnant soon, especially since we have technically been trying for 2 years now, but I have a great feeling about this cycle..

What would you do?

I personally wouldn't bc of the money, let alone possibly being pg.... That said, i don't know that going that early in a pregnancy would really affect anything. If you really want to go, maybe call your gyno and ask the nurse if it would be ok to go on rides that early in a pregnancy and then go from there.

I wouldn't go based on the money not the possible pregnancy. Even if you are not pregnant you are still going to need to save since you are the only one working. HTH
