I do believe in psychic ablilities. I have always wanted to go to one, but freaked out that I would hear something terrible. My mom has gone to one before and was happy with her reading. It really is amazing that she knew so much about you.

I believe some ppl have an extra sense, but for every "real" person with this sense, there are 10 more that are full of it.

However, just from the info she gave, and that she wasn't trying to charge you anything for it, she could be one of the legit ones.

Who knows. But, you got a free reading out of it, and hope that a future FET is going to work out for you, so I'd say you came out ahead. Smile

I wouldn't plan my life around what she said, but it's something to keep in the back of your mind, KWIM?

I believe in that stuff to a degree, I wouldn't go out a paint a nursery or anything based on it.

I had a person who told my mom to tell me not to buy a house we were looking at because there was bad history in it and the person was still there. I asked our realtor about it and apparently someone had died in the house and it was not pleasant..My mom didn't even know we were looking at houses or anything. Needless to say, we didn't buy it..so I do believe in stuff like that

Wow. That's just kind of weird and creepy. I do believe that some people have special abilities, but I'm not sure how much stock I would put into what she said. I do hope she's right though

I believe in unsolicited psychics. I had my palm read by a friend of a friend once and it was creepily accurate.

For her to come up with all of that "out of the blue", I think it's cool.

If she starts trying to sell you Amway or a "great investment property"....well then, not cool.

a bit overwhelming to have her just come out and say all of that - but I LOVE it! I do hope that she is right!

I have had a similar experience (I've posted this here before) re: a psychic and my ttc issues. not nearly as specific as yours - but referenced 2 babies very close to each other (and at time I was pg with first BFP and no one knew, then m/c, got pg right away, but m/c). then next session a year later she knew of my losses (w/out me saying), and said that "..name" will help you with this -- it was my RE's name. . .so who knows!!!

I belive that there are people out there with real gifts. I also believe there are people out there that are just looking to take your money and tell you a bunch of misc. BS. However, in this case, I tend to believe this woman. There is nothing in it for her.

I agree with pps that there's a lot in the universe that's unexplained & I believe certain people may be able to tap into some of that. I really hope your coworker is right!!!

My mother had a psychic friend who did a reading for me while my then boyfriend was there. We were fairly serious at the time (tossing around the idea of moving in together). She flat out told me that he was not the one for me & that I was going to travel & I'd meet my true love. And it all happened.

She's either psychic or (IMO, more realistically) she's kind of psychO and is internet stalking you. You wouldn't be that hard to find online, given your uncommon name. Esp if she knows your husband's name too.

I am mixed. I was told by a psychic that my boss trusts that I was going to have a miscarriage before my first child. What you heard sounds incredibly accurate and that would make me think... I hope that what she told you is right though!!
