If you're interested in reusable, you should go to cloth diapers. Gdiapers have a nice concept, but if you use the disposable inserts they're way overpriced and not everybody can flush them down the toilet anyway (not all pipes can handle them). We have used cloth since DS was born and haven't regretted it for a second. He went to daycare for a short while last week and they required us to use disposables at their facility. 3 days into sposies, he had a diaper rash. When we didn't need their services anymore and DS was back in cloth, the rash cleared up almost immediately. It was the first and only diaper rash DS has ever had. And the pp is right, maintenance really isn't a big deal and is easier than most folks thing. Lurk on the eco friendly board - lots of posts over there about cloth diapers. You'll glean a lot of info.

Re: gdiapers?
I used them when DD was a newborn until she was about 3 months.
I should have stopped using them earlier. They were expensive and I wasn't impressed with their performance.
They weren't very absorbent, and they were a pain to clean up.
At this point, for the convenience, I wouldn't move to reusable diapers because the diapers I use now are cheap and they WORK.
This is all IMHO of course ...
I've never used gdiapers, but have used many different brands of cloth. I love them, and they can save you money if you buy them right!
I don't think they are hard to maintain at all either. I'd be happy to share more info if you are interested pm me!
