Re: Now my blood is boiling.

  • I assume you're refering to the post about water...I thought you couldn't give babies water at 5 months old?

Our pedi told us not to, anyways.

ETA: ok, someone fill me in, my work computer block a bunch of crap so I just keep clicking hte next/previous buttons...what am I missing??

  • Wait...he's being that dumb that he doesn't realize she needs her diaper changed??? What is he doing?

ETA: When I want to be really passive aggressive, or when I'm just really uber pissed at DH, I text him...and let him know what needs to be done. For example something along the lines of "hey jackass (or insert noun of your choice), Libby needs to take a bath".

  • LULU she is okay. She is fine, right?

When we give her a sippy cup with water, she gets less than a half ounce in her mouth. It mostly just gets all over her shirt. I BF and don't want DD getting BM from a sippy cup and I'm not going to give her juice.

I think.  Would it be weird if I poked my head out to check on her?

I am not relaxed.  This is the opposite of relaxed.

YES! IMO, you need to let him be. Unless she is screaming, then take that shiz over. Go take a bath or something.

Ah. I think I found it. I have to keep hitting the next/previous post button and keep getting some random posts...I got to yours.

  • Hey lulu, I'm with you on the PPOCD. My counselor told me that if I am supposed to be taking a break, I am not allowed to intervene unless DD is in danger. I'm not great at listening to this advice, but I just thought I would share.

It's like I can feel my insides shaking.

I completely understand. I hate leaving DD with H. How is it that fathers can be so disconnected with their daughters? He'll do the same things you're talking about (throw a b!tch-fit when I ask for a minute to myself and then ignore DD's existence while he "watches her). I come undone thinking about it. You are not alone.
