I don't think so. It's not always easy to find the heartbeat and it would worry me unnecessarily if I couldn't find it.
I agree - I would have major anxiety because of this. It is bad enough when you don't remember the last time you felt them move and then poke at your stomach until you can get them to do something.
I thought about it the last time around. I researched and came to the conclusion that if you want a decent one, you'll have to shell out a decent amount of cash. I'm cheap, so I don't mind waiting for my doctor's appointments.
My SIL bought one for her first and used it ALL the time! I know she has it so I think I will just borrow hers!! I don't want to keep it at my place though b/c I think I will obsess over it!
