must haves for first few months

There's a slight chance we won't be having a baby shower till after Layla arrives. What are some of your must have items for the first month or so after bringing baby home? We have her cradle ready, as well as a moses basket. I've got a few side snap shirts, mittens, hats & other newborn outfits. Obviously a few bottles (even though I'm going to try really hard to BF exclusive for the 1st month), diapers, wipes, a bath and the essentials that come along with that. Is there anything else besides the obvious?

 My urge to nest is borderline ridculous right now, heh.

    swaddle blankets -- DD wouldn't sleep without being wrapped up, so they were a lifesaver for us.

    My child was a spitter- so I used a million burp clothes a day. Also sleepers with a zipper for night time (makes middle of the night diaper changes easy) & a ton of onesies (I just had a few packs of basic gerber brand) for hanging out during the day. Newborns really don't need much!
