It is 73 degrees in my house and I am about to freeze! I have on long sleeves and pants but it is still cold.
Regular socks did the trick in the old house but there are too many smooth floors here. It almost makes me miss the house with nothing but carpet.
I am off to find cute gripper socks now.
Re: I need socks with gripper bottoms.
I wanna come over! That sounds fantastic. I opened everything up and put fans on to get the nice cool morning air in, but I'm going to have to close it all up soon and turn on the air.
I would be turning colors at 61. 75 is where I am most comfortable.
I might also need to look for a thermostat that will keep the house at 75. With ours now you are either on heat or air depending on what you have it set on. If it gets below your air temp the heat does not kick on and if you get above your heat temp the air does not come on.
I know there is a name for the thermostat I am looking for but I cannot think of it.
Mmm peppermint socks. Does the scent wash out?
73 and you're cold? You would not survive in our house. It's at 68 all year round (we try to keep our bedroom at about 66). Anything above 70 and DH & I roast!
You can turn any socks into gripper socks with a bottle of scribble paint. Just paint any design on the bottom of your socks and it should help with traction.
My parent's kept their house at 68 and I had a heater and at least 2 quilts on me all the time.
Scribble paint you say.. Hmm I think I need to make a trip to the store. Thanks.
Yeah let's make that 72 and my German shepherd's teeth are chattering and both dogs are shivering.
I've never heard of having purposefully scented socks. Peppermint? That'd be bad news bears for me, I'm severely allergic to mint. Thanks for the heads up that they exsist!
