Flame free Sunday Confession.. *My Mountain Dew Baby!

Got ya!!  No I don't give him Mountain Dew but this did just happen: *copied off my FB status:

So mommy mistake 1,000,001.. Colin now has a new nickname. My Mountain Dew Baby! While he was napping I used his exersauser as a coaster for my diet dew. He woke up and I was playing with him. Clayton is working on some homework and needed help so I sat Colin down in the exersaucer without thinking. I looked over to check on him and there is a pool of dew on the toy and he is holding the can upside down up to his mouth.I don't think he got any of it thank goodness and somehow by the grace of god he is dry. It must have all dumped out on the tray while he was picking it up. Bad mommy, bad!!!

 

This did remind me of something I was wanting to tell you all.  I was at my SS's football practice the other night.  It was chilly so I left the baby with Daddy.  There was a mom there with her get this 8 day old baby. *it was like 50 somthing out*  and her 14 month old.  The 14 old was toddeling around with a sippy cup.  It was empty and I didn't think much of it till the mom refilled it.  WITH MOUNTAIN DEW!!!!!  She saw my look of horror and preceded to make a joke about how funny it is how she gets crazy after drinking it.  CRAZY LADY!

ETA:  Opps. It is Sunday, isn't it!

    OH MAN!!! that lady is crazy! Why would you give a baby soda Mountain Dew no less on purpose YIKES

    I knew a girl who would put soda in her baby's bottle. Yuck.

     My confession is Liam has gotten to a soda as well, his sister left her rootbeer where he could get it. I think he made more of a mess with it then he did drink it lol.
