I was at Motherhood MAt today looking for some shirts and I saw one. I so almost bought it. But I knew if I did that I would be over obsessive about it. I still kind of want to get it. And I think it was only $30.
I'm no good for talking people out of buying dopplers, since I bought one around 10w. I paid $55 for it on amazon, and I just craigslisted it and sold it for $45, so I'm totally happy with what I ended up paying for it.
The one you are looking at doesn't have many reviews on amazon, but the ones that are there aren't so good. If you're going to get a doppler, I recommend getting a better one. Most women on these boards (myself included) really like the sonoline b. Mine had the 3mhz probe, and it was wonderful, but I can't speak for the 2mhz probe.
That said - keep in mind that you will soon start feeling the baby. Around 19-20 weeks, I started feeling Aidan's kicks (I wasn't observant enough to ever feel flutters - by the time I noticed him, he was definitely KICKING) and by now I feel him throughout the day, every day. I sold my doppler because I have no use for it anymore.

I live in BC. We often can't order from American sites https://www.dopplerstodiapers.com/ This is the most commonly used doppler rental place in our area.
Do you have a friend or relative here in the states that can order you one and ship it to you? goodness. I know that when I sold on eBay I shipped to Vancouver Island, and I was one of those sellers that didn't mind checking the gift box on the customs sheet, if someone asked me nicely.
I wouldn't be the one to talk you out of it either. We bought our doppler on amazon.com for 45. It ended up being 50 with shipping. Could hear the heartbeat at 13 weeks. I LOVE it! I got the SonolineB 2mhz. Nothing but positive reviews from this girl!
Whenever I'm feeling spiffy, I just try and find the heartbeat and listen. Its sometimes hard to find, and I've heard some people say they don't always find it, so if you're the worrysome type, I'd stay away for that reason alone. I just got it for the fun of hearing it and sharing it when I can
I say get it!

Was it a Baby Sounds one? Those don't work very well, I wouldn't waster my money. If you're gonna buy a doppler I'd recommend a Sonoline B, which you can get on Amazon for $80. I know this batch of tri ladies preach about all the stress and worry a monitor can bring, but I've personally loved it through both of my pregnancies and never found it to be a problem.
I thought I would be obsessive. I am not. Best purchase I ever made. I have the angelsound. Just know that if you can't find the heartbeat, just put it away, and try again later. No biggie, it happens.
i bought one on amazon.com it was he angelsounds one and i LOVE it!! it was only $25 and has GREAT reviews! I listen to the baby every few days or so and it is so awesome to hear!! Just know sometimes it takes longer to find because baby will be moving but TOTALLY worth the money!

I changed the title for that reason. A doppler to listen to baby!
It was this one.

I was just looking at BRU website and the reviews are not so good. Guess I'll find a different one that I want!
