I started getting a random really bad chest pain here and there this afternoon, which resulted in them sending me to L&D. The put monitors on my, took blood, and did an EKG- all which turned out fine. They keep saying they think it's just a weird form of reflux, which is odd because I wouldn't think a PB&J and an apple would give you sudden reflux pains four hours later but hey- I'm not a medical professional. What was going on, unbeknownst to me, was that I am contracting regularly. Every four minutes the entire time I was there. I couldn't feel a thing. They did an internal and I'm 80% effaced and 1cm dilated, and the chest pains were easing up, so they sent me home. Exciting Saturday night in the PDX household.

oh wow
what a surprise that must have been! Im sending you wishes for a speedy delivery and a healthy baby!
That's what a couple nurses seemed to think. My mom didn't feel a thing through a her early labor and went from "I feel a little funny" to baby in her arms two hours later, so it unnerved me a little. lol. I'll try to update at least on FB if we see more action soon.
