nursery ?

do I need a mobile? or are they optional? C's nursery is pretty small and I already ordered a chandelier for the ceiling. I feel like another thing hanging in there would be too much.

It's not going right over her crib though, so she won't be looking at the chandelier per say....

Would your child's daily life be drastically altered without their mobile?

Thanks for talking me through this one. There is so much going on right now(long story) and the nursery is starting to overwhelm me.

Re: nursery ?

  • Drastically altered? No.  I use it for entertaining her while I am putting clothes away or getting myself ready.  She definitely doesn't use it to go to sleep though.

  • Caroline never had one and I don't think it affected her daily life.  She seems to have turned out okay. Wink

  • We didn't have one. For us, the crib is for sleeping only and I felt like B is so fascinated with everything that i didn't want anything that might distract her from sleeping. Who know if it would make a difference one way or the other but for us it was just one less thing to buy.
  • Thanks girls. Sorry for the dramatization. It's just that everything seems like such a colassal decision these days . Even mobiles. Hehe. Good to know C won't feel screwed cause she didn't have one ;)
