AW: Talking with a purpose!

So DH gets up with DD every morning and lets me get an extra half hour while she drinks milk and wakes up. Well, lately I have let him sleep in on Saturdays. So, today I went to get DD and she goes, "Mama!" I picked her up and gave her snuggles, and then in this inquisitive voice she says, "Dadda?" I told her he was sleeping, so, she tried to crawl into our bedroom.

It is so cool to have a "conversation" with her that I she clearly understands!

Aww, so sweet! I love being able to communicate with them. Last night I was feeding LO dinner and she clearly wanted something so I pointed at it and said do you want this? and she said "yes, this". She did it again later and I was trying to figure out what she wanted and she shook her head no at each thing until I got to what she wanted and she said "yes, yes!". Of course her "yes" sounds more like "es" and this is "tis".
