I have intense cramping all across the right side
of my belly. To the point it does take my breath away. I'm walking in
little circles in my house and I have to pause sometimes until it
stops. But it's only the right side. WTF?
Yes! I asked my midwife about this at my appointment this week because I've been having what I was pretty sure were contractions on my right side only. She said it's completely normal. It just means that the oxytocin receptors on your uterus are more developed on one side than the other, she said the left side will catch up eventually.
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

The pain has subsided a lot and I'm planning to head back to bed to try to get some sleep now! Thanks for the response though - for some reason knowing that makes me feel a LOT better! I had never heard of that before and my brain just kept going WTF?!?! Now I'm just going to hope that tomorrow they get "worse"!
Re: Can Early Labor Ctxns be on just one side?
Have you called your Dr.?
