What's your party menu?

Please share your bday party menus!

I don't want to spend a lot of money on catering.  However I've also heard I shouldn't be too busy in kitchen the day of.  So maybe something I can prepare ahead of time would be best.  I don't cook much - so please share your menus!  TIA :)

    make some pasta salads and veggie platter ahead of time and then just get a sandwich tray.

    Sounds easy enough - thanks!  I had been leaning towards a sandwich tray.  Good idea about pasta salad  - that way the birthday boy can eat some too!  :)
