I've never understood this about first tri.

Why does everyone go bananas when someone talks about if they're showing or not? It's NBD, you know? Just chill! Why is it our responsibility to tell them they're bloated? If they're showing, they're showing. Simple as that. Even if they think they are and they aren't, who cares? It isn't going to make them show any sooner. I remember when murfygirl was in first tri and she was showing- everyone kept going "it's bloat, it's bloat." Bottom line- she did not look how she normally looked, tell me how that's not showing? So what if her baby was the size of a pea, her belly was bigger due to pregnancy. Cased closed. This just annoys me so much- and I have at least 7 more weeks with this shiz.

    It bugs me the way people have to get all up in arms over dumb stuff like that. Let them think they are showing, and how do you know - they might already be showing compared to what they looked like before!

    Meee tooo. I try not to go to 1st Tri much.  I drives me crazy!  so how are you feeling this pregnancy.  I have noticed I have much more Morning Sickness and just plain feeling blah.

    I agree, except when 1st tri girls actually believe its their uterus that is "Showing" If they relieze their uterus is still in their pelvic bone, and what IS "Showing" is bloat CAUSED by pregnancy then ya..more power to you ...Flaunt that sexy bloat!

    I just can't bring myself to post or even lurk over there very much.  It's exactly stuff like what you posted about that is so irritating about 1st Tri.  Maybe I'll jump in more when I move on up to 2nd Tri!
    I don't know what's up with my siggy and I am too lazy to figure it out.

    That's the thing though- who cares what they think it is? If they're flaunting bloat, baby, whatever- isn't that their prerogative? Yes, maybe they're idiots for not understanding their own bodies, but the only ones they're embarrassing is themselves. I for one, do not need anyone taking an extra good look at this gut I'm toting, but if I want to show it off that's on me.

    Thats how I feel too.  I never want to get out of bed but there is sometimes where I can't sleep at night.  ugh..  DH doesnt know what to do with me this time around.  He is about to leave for 2 months in a couple days.  He is going to miss the whole first Trimester.  Isn't he so lucky.  lol

    Agreed. The bloat is due to being pregnant. So you are showing that you are pregnant. What is the big deal?
