What do we know about Maclaren?

So my mom just found out that my cousin works for Maclaren. My aunt is offering to get me something from there for the babies, and said that we could get anything additional at cost (no clue what price range that would be). I just sent away for their catalog, but I know nothing about the company/products.

Is this something to jump on, or am I still going to have a heart attack over sticker shock?

I fell in love with a very expensive stroller, like $600.

If I could get one at cost I would.

They have nice, sturdy umbrella type strollers that get great reviews. I don't know much else about them though. Seems like they are definitely worth the money.

Maclaren was on our short list for strollers. we went with another one that fit our lifestyle better but they are really great. they are very smooth to push and do well with corners.
