I'm sooooo tired of being pricked! - Update!

I had my 6th beta this morning after my 2nd round of MTX shots and my beta stayed the same as Monday! UGH! My E2 and P4 are down and that is good but still!!

I have to go in again tomorrow for another draw. If it doesn't go down significantly then we have to talk with the RE about other options. (D&C, etc)

I just don't get it. Two u/s and there is nothing in my ute or in my tubes! I am so over this!

ETA: This was my 6th beta not 5th! I am frigging losing count!

Update: My beta came back at 98! Yay! It's going down! I am going to NYC next week and they told me just to POAS when we get back and then let them know. It should be at zero by then. Fingers crossed!

    You probably could have written the post I just posted on TTCAL-

    I got my first beta to confirm pregnancy on 9/3 and it was 140, on 9/7 after some spotting my dr took more levels that came in at 100 and she told me i would probably miscarry.  That weekend 9/11ish i started to miscarry at about 5 and a half weeks.  Had more levels taken 9/14 and they were down to 70...fast forward two weeks later and my levels  I just don't feel like this is normal and my doctor is not being helpful at all (i'm already planning on switching doc's but was going to stay with this one until this is over)-I am so tired of going in and having blood drawn and nothing happening.

     

    TTC since 5/2010
    DX with Diminished Ovarian Reserve - AMH of 1.1 - 7/2011; AMH of .42 8/2012    BFP 9/1/10-M/C confirmed 9/8/10-Methotrexate 10/6/10
    IUI #1 (w/clomid)-9/5/11-BFN ; IUI #2 (w/clomid)-10/5/11 - BFP - 11/1/12-No sac seen; 11/2/11 and 11/9/11-Methotrexate 
    IVF #1- ER 2/2; ET 2/5;-Two 8 cell embryos transfered = BFFN
    Surprise BFP - 5/7/12
    U/S on 6/8/12 - H/B at 128 BPM; U/S on 6/14/12 @ 9wks-No H/B-D&C on 6/17/12
    IVF 2.0- ER 10/17; ET 10/20-One 12 cell, one 10 cell and one 8 cell embryo transfered
    BFP!   11/16/12 U/S- Two nuggets with perfect heartbeats! EDD 7/10/13

    Oh goodness, I'm so sorry.  I had four beta draws, my arms were all purple and bruised from them.  Hopefully those levels go down!

    Oh I can so relate to both of you.  Had my 2nd shot of MTX on Tues, and went for a blood draw this morning. The lady at the lab feels like my new BFF because I've seen her about twice a week for the last month. I understand how frustrating it is that our bodies won't cooperate.  Sorry you have to deal with it, just know you're not alone.

    Thanks. I am sorry you had to go through this too. I have made good friends with my lab girl too.

    Hopefully my results will come back lower today so we can move on.

    The lab girls are the best! I can't stand my doctor, well, b/c i still haven't gotten to talk to her (and yes, I'm switching) but the girl in the lab has been the sweetest!
