I told my parents about Baby Beabs at lunch today, and my mom mentioned that she didn't have morning sickness for either of her pregnancies. I'm definately hoping that is something that she and I have in common.
I don't think it is, but hopefully for you it will be. My mother swore Jillian was a girl because I was so sick and girls made her very sick. I haven't been as sick this time, so she thought it was a boy. She was right, and we do seem to have identical pregnancies.
Thus far it seems to be similar for my mom and me. She had ms, but never extreme. I also have it and I will dry heave at times, but haven't actually puked yet. It is more a a queasy I feel like crap kind.
It has been for me. My mom said she never had much m/s. I feel icky at night time but, I've yet to find myself praying to the porcelain gods. I'm (hopefully) almost out of the woods!
Gosh I hope not. All my mother could stomach were PB&J sandwiches, which I of course can't stand, lol. So far I've had some nausea but nothing too horrible--it just seems bad because I'm not used to it.
It has been for us. My mom and sister and I all had very mild morning sickness. Mom had two girls, I had a boy and my sister had a girl. It seemed all very similar for all of the pregnancies (or maybe my mom has totally forgotten!). We also didn't really get many stretch marks, and that seems genetic too.
Re: I hope morning sickness is hereditary.
I dunno about that...certainly not be in the case for me. Good luck with that though!
ETA to apologize for horrible grammar. Apparently my brain is celebrating Talk Like a Pirate Day two weeks late. Ugh. (Or should I say "Arrr"? )
