Pretty lazy weekend ahead. Tomorrow we have no official plans, just some errands to take care of... but since its going to be sunny (the only sunny day called for in the coming week!), I'm hoping we can go somewhere outdoors. Maybe the orchard?
Sunday I'm getting pedis with a friend of mine as a belated birthday gift. Can't wait!
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
Its supposed to be pretty nice this weekend so i'm looking forward to getting outside. Tomorrow we have family pictures in the am (hoping for one that can be our holiday card), then swim lessons and a bonfire with the lesbian mom's group in the evening. Should be a pretty fun day!
Sunday we have Church then nada...there's an orchard w/ a bunch of fun kid activities in the area so we might check that out.
Tonight I think we are going out to dinner as a family. L was out of town for business Monday-Wednesday and last night I had to run some errands after work. So we really need to reconnect.
Tomorrow I will take the kids to Grayson's soccer game (assuming the field isn't underwater - in any case, it is going to be a muddy mess) and then to get their haircut while L works on school stuff. We've talked about getting a sitter for tomorrow evening so we can go to a movie and/or dinner - but no one has called her yet, so I don't know if that will happen.
Sunday we'll go to church and then a couple that we met at the lesbian meetup group and their 2y old are coming over for a playdate. Post nap, I am sure we'll need to make a grocery store run for the week.
Tonight I'm babysitting for Abba916 so she and her DH can enjoy an anniversary dinner out.
Saturday - K, Jelly Bean and I are going to a wedding. The bride and groom are really good friends of ours so I'm very excited. Plus, I hit up the Macy's clearance rack and scored JB some cute potential wedding outfits. :-p
Sunday - Hopefully it will be a lazy family day :-)

Lazy, lazy, lazy! Haha- we had a bunch of plans for different things with family, but they all fell through.
Might go to the pumpkin patch/orchard with Sug tomorrow, but we may still wait for my family to be able to join us. So, so far just cleaning and grocery shopping. My new quarter at school starts Monday, so I'm not looking to do to much- it'll be a long 12 weeks before I get a break again!

S is running a 1/2 marathon this weekend so we are going to be busy.
Tonight is happy hour with work then I am making pizza for dinner.
Sat S will be doing school work in the am then we are off to NH to check in for the race and at our hotel. Sat night we will be going out for pasta to fuel up. We have 2 rooms so I will be bunking with E so that S gets a good night sleep.
Sun Race starts at 9 am so E and I will eat breakfast and get ready to see Mommy run by (shoot I need to get some supplies to make a sign). I hope the weather is good so we can enjoy a nice walk on the beach while S is running.

Saturday we are going to the big Mothers of Multiples sale-- I am SO EXCITED! We are hoping to score a stroller and some cold-weather clothes for the kiddos. (We desperately need a stroller-- we've been carrying them in and out of daycare and while I can carry two at once, it is a bit difficult for me to put one squirmy baby down in a car seat and buckle him/her in with one hand while holding another squirmy baby in the other arm.)
(2brides-- any tips for the sale? do we need to get there early to line up? recommendations for strollers to snag if we see them [so far we're hoping for a City Mini Double]?)
Sunday is probably breakfast out then church, but both depend on how the kiddos are feeling (we had to skip church last week because we didn't want them to get anyone sick).
Have a great weekend, everyone!

Well, nothing is written in stone yet. I know for sure that on Sunday, we'll be watching football and celebrating my birthday. Saturday, we might go for a hike and/or play disc golf. Tonight, we're going to a Deaf social, where they will have pizza.
Today - We had Part 2 of our homestudy this morning, it went really well, two more weeks before we are certified. Tonight we are taking DD to her Dad's house for the weekend.
Saturday - We have a birthday party to go to in the afternoon, hoping to relax in the morning.
(2brides-- any tips for the sale? do we need to get there early to line up? recommendations for strollers to snag if we see them [so far we're hoping for a City Mini Double]?)
Yes, get there early and line up (I used to line up at 6:40 to shop at 7am and was about 50 ppl back!) I would advise you to avoid bringing the kids if possible and if you do - wear them if you can since the space in the sale area is so tight that getting through with a stroller is really difficult.
Volunteers get to shop first, then regular members, and then the public. This is the first sale in 4y that I haven't worked the sale - and I always worked strollers! You won't get a Mini Double at the sale. If by a stroke of luck there was one there, it'll be gone in an instant that the volunteers enter the floor. The strollers that are there tend to be a bit beat up (that is what having 2 kids will do!) There tends to be Graco DuoGlides (don't reccomend) and an ocassional jogger (plus an assortment of singles and a TON of double snap and gos.) I wish I had known you were looking for a stroller b/c we just sold our Baby Jogger City Series at the Columbia sale last weekend for 1/7 of what we paid for it!
There will still be a good bit of clothing left since there is so much in smaller sizes (once you get to 3T, pickings are slim!)
Have fun - I used to love the sale. Now there are so few clothes in 4-5T adn we don't need any more toys that isn't really fun (L came home from the Columbia sale with 2 pair of shorts, some Lincoln Logs, and some books!)
We survived dual doctors appointments today, so after children's services tonight there will be ice cream! Tomorrow-ballet, trip to grandma's, perhaps swimming/park. Sunday-Mall, Trader Joe's, maybe pumpkin patch and dinner w/ family.
Tonight: Babysitting for my favorite family. (I don't babysit anymore except for this family who have now become more of family friends. In fact, they're passing along their nursery set to us in the next week or so.)
Sat: Teaching childbirth from 9:30-1pm. Then the afternoon with C at home and cooking dinner. We haven't had a weekend to ourselves in over a month!
Sun: Teaching church school (4th-5th grade!) for the first time this year. Then another afternoon to relax and get things done.
If it's nice weather we may go to the dog park (haven't been since we got the big backyard.) One project I want to finish is getting photos selected, printed, framed, and hung. Our bare walls need to remedied!
I'm also on-call for a birth and have a ton of books that I'm working on getting through before they're due back to the library.

Jen is working late tonight and then picking up the rental car. I got home from a business trip around 4:00, went to pick the dogs up at the groomer's, and am now procrastinating the unpacking, packing and laundry I need to do.
We're driving to Charlottesville tomorrow morning to go to Monticello, which I've been wanting to visit forever. We'll probably drive around UVA, and get dinner somewhere (neither of us have ever been there - recommendations?).
Sunday we're doing our last triathlon of the season - it should be really nice. It's half the distance of the one we did a few weeks ago, and much smaller. (Not hard to be much smaller than that race - it's going to be in the Guinness Book for the world's largest triathlon). Then we're going to stop by an orchard to pick a few apples and get apple cider donuts before heading home. Should be a really nice weekend
We are both working tonight; off at 8:00 p.m. Tonight is Kim's LAST NIGHT at an evil retail job. She starts a non-evil gig on Monday, for which we are both grateful.
Tonight, we plan to celebrate the non-evil-jobness with pizza, DVDs, popcorn and all the movie accouttrements.
Tomorrow, I've got a Geology mid-term (gag) and Kim's gonna do yard work (ungag for her). At least we get to start the day with a couple's masage.
Sunday, we might go see the open-captioned movie or just hang around the house,
The next two weekends will be action packed. But, I'll write about that next weekend.
Whatever we end up doing, I know we will be enjoying the fall weather that's finally here.

Sat: DW and I both work. After work we will have dinner and probably clear off the DVR.
Sun: We are going to Ann's parents for her grandpa's birthday and her aunt coming in from GA. It will be the first time she gets to meet Kylie!
