So, f/u to being frozen out of my office

They are up here trying to fix the temp in my office.  He just put some doodad up to the air blowing out of the vent and it is a friggid 58 degrees.  58!

    OMG, that happened in my old office, and of course the vent was right over the middle of my desk and my desk couldn't be moved. I don't remember what the temp was, but it was something in the 50s.

    They never did figure out what the problem was (at least while I was still there) so they just taped a piece of cardboard over it. Classy.

    This is my office all. the. time. A guy told me last year that basically the thermostat in my office doesn't do much and will never actually be at the temp I set it at. I have to wear a heavy jacket in here even when it is 110* outside.

    I just threw a fleece baby blanket I brought from home over my shoulders because my office is so cold.  I also have a little space heater I keep turning on intermittently.  It's going to be in the high 70s today and I'm hugely pregnant, yet somehow my office is freezing azz cold. I feel your pain.

    Fukcers better fix it.  This building is brand new, there is no excuse for this.  And yeah, the vent is right over my desk, and I have a huge L-shaped desk so there is no other place it can go.

    LOL, I work for an HVAC company and we can't keep our building right.

    Taping cardboard over it does help. Screws up the rest of the building, but whatever.

     

    So what your telling me is I would be comfy but the naked lady getting a pap in the next room would be doubly screwed?
