Welcome, ladies, to the Expecting a Sibling Weekly Check-In! I will try to post this check-in each Friday morning - afternoon, so be looking for it! I'll also try to repost this around Saturday-Sunday so that others can add to our thread. If you'd like you can also put the date of your next checkup or u/s and I'll add next to your name so that we can send good thoughts your way on that particular day.

Below is the list of ladies who have joined us, 88 so far! If you would like to be added to our list, please leave your Bump Name, your real name (if you choose to share), and what number child this will add to your family. Newbies are always welcome, as well as proud step parents & those adopting!

For those who are newbies please read the post New to January Moms or The Bump? (thank you to mchupie!). It will help answer so many questions, and you can also grab the January Joy button code from that post. There is also a bump glossary located here. And an unofficial glossary located here. The unofficial glossary contains a lot more bump lingo.

    General QOTD: How has your week been? - Pretty good, been exercising each day and trying to stay in my calorie range. It's frustrating being back at my pre-pregnancy weight when I dropped nearly 20 lbs in the first trimester.

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again? - I didn't do them before, but I'm considering this time around and making it family portraits too.

    General QOTD: How has your week been?

    My week has been extremely crazy with my schedule at school(work at one).  I have trying to do a mile walk in the middle of the day to keep my energy up.  Other then that I am great!  Feeling great!  Shins are soar from walking my miles, but that is manageable!

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again?

    I think I am going to take some maternity photos this time.  I haven't done them before which I am now regretting since this is my second child!

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again? I did not have them done with #1, I'm undecided on whether I will do them this time.

    General QOTD: How has your week been? It seemed WAY too long.  I am so glad it's Friday.

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again? I'm still trying to decide.  I am kind of thinking of doing them as part of a family shoot this fall.  We don't have any pro pics of all of us, so I figured I could incorporate a few maternity shots into that.

    General QOTD: How has your week been? Busy! DS is finally over his illness and he's been making up for time lost being naughty. I'm trying to get everything ready for us to travel to my parents next week, and I know I'm going to forget something.

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again? I didn't with the first which is silly since my mom is a prof. photographer, so we will being doing them at the end of October with some family pics thrown in as well.

    General QOTD: How has your week been? The week went by fast but I'm exhausted. I haven't been sleeping well, at least up once a night to use the bathroom. Last night I was up five different times!

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again? I didn't have professional pic's taken before but have some that a family member took as a "sitting" that I liked. I'm definitely getting some this time and my DH and DS are going to be in them too.

    My next u/s is the 12th - we are dying to know the baby's gender!

    it's been a long week. i'm ready for the weekend! 

    i did not do maternity pictures last time (just belly pictures), but i may have dh take some this time, since it will probably be our last. we'll see.

    General QOTD: How has your week been? It has been a busy one and will be a really busy weekend between elections and weddings.

    QOTD: WIll you or have you done maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again?     Yes, I had belly shots done the first go-around and cherish them dearly. I cannot wait to have shots taken of all of us with my big old bell this time.

    General QOTD: How has your week been?

    Good so far.. this weekend will be a little trying, though! We have a birthday party for my step-son, a baby shower on Sunday, and a football party at our home that night (that I have to cook for)!! yikes!

    QOTD: WIll you or have you do maternity pictures before? And are you doing them again?

    I do not from before (since I'm a stepmom)... and I don't know if I will this time. I just paid for our wedding photos, so I'm a little short on cash for photos... especially with it being school sales season (fundraisers like WOAH!). I've been buying books, tee shirts, and Gertrude Hawk candy to boost DSS's sales for about 2 solid months!
