DD loves grapes - do you still peel them for your LO? I do. I brought a small container of peeled/cut grapes to dinner with us the other night and one of my friends couldn't believe I peel them. Maybe I don't need to anymore?

haha - it does take some time! Ok, going to try unpeeled grapes this weekend.
I cut the smaller ones in half and the bigger one in quarters.

I am terrified that she might choke, so I halve them, and then cut each half in at least 4 pieces
This!
You don't have to do both... peel them or quarter them - either is fine.
Holy *** at the person who doesn't do either. Yowza. Make sure you're up to date on the baby Heimlich. That scares the *** outta me.
Seriously? He has teeth, ya know? And he's extremely capable at using them. Since he's never so much as gagged after weeks and weeks of eating them, I'd have to say, it's not something I'm going to freak out about.
I've been peeling them, but he is NOT a fan. I think they must be too sour right now.
But I also figure if he's eating blueberries without being peeled, a quartered grape unpeeled isn't much different.
i've never peeled grapes for dd but i have cut them up really small.
Why do you care so much if it scares me? You go on with your bad self. Just make sure you know how to deal with a choking kid. That's good advice for anyone. But especially for you, since you give your kid airway-shaped food.
