I had the best luck with the angel fold. Enough bulk in front for his (for his size) heavy wetting and contains poops well once you get it down.

We liked the bikini twist - extra fluff in the front where it counts and a nice poo pocket in the back

we used newspaper fold when DS was a NB. Now angel wing.
