My newborn has a tooth and it's loose. The dentist wants to pull it because it's a chocking hazard. This is scary to me, my cousin died when he was a toddler from getting his tooth pulled. My baby is 6 weeks old and the tooth came in when she was 1 wk old. I'm going to get a second opinion was wondering if anybody had a good pedi dentist. Has anyone had an experiment with a newborn having a tooth and was it pulled?
My youngest was born with a tooth. Pedi kept checking it but hers never got loose. Had it loosen then I had a rec from my pedi for a ped dentist to remove it.

Nope- you have to wait for their adult tooth.
