Anyone else have a big crier? (bonks/falls)?

DD has never been much of a crier when she would bonk when she was sitting and fell over. I thought because we never reacted to her. But now it seems like if she is crawling on something (like me) and takes a digger she CRIES, and now with her pulling up on things I know there will be more spills.

I know she isn't hurt because she is fine 30 seconds later.

How can I help her know it is ok?

  • Yes. Seth is a total drama queen. You would think the world is crashing down when he just falls from standing to his bum.

  • DD will cry so hard sometimes after a fall that she has trouble catching her breath. I try to smile and tell her its ok in a sing-song voice when she has minor spills and falls, but when she cries like I mentioned above I just have to hug her and wisper to her that its ok and kiss her on her neck(she is ticklish there) to get her to catch her breath and laugh.
