Just had my first little irrational jealous moment...on FB my husband's cousin wrote, "I wish I had a baby that slept all night!!!" And I just wanted to comment "I wish I had a baby." Sometimes I think people take their LO's for granted.

P.S. I realize how irrational my thinking was (I'm going to blame it on AF), do you remember your first little moment of jealousy?

My first moment of jealousy, was when my bestfriend told me she was pregnant. It wasn't a planned pregnancy, and she said to me, I wish it was you that was pregnant and not me. She is 3 months pregnant now.

I feel this way every time a friend writes about her baby on FB. And some of the update their statuses 5 times a day and every time it's about their baby. So annoying.

I have a one year old but had a miscarriage back in Feb. My SIL was due with her first at the beginning of March. All she did her entire pregnancy was complain about backaches, heartburn, etc. (basically all the common uncomfortable things that pregnancy brings). It hurt soo bad to hear her complain after miscarrying. All I could think of was that she was lucky to have been able to carry the baby to term as I am sitting here losing mine. Even with one baby already, I was definitely jealous that our second pregnancy ended in loss while she was complaining about hers.

I have a FB friend who is 36 weeks along and all she does is complain about this pregnancy (her third). I wish I could smack the crap out of her, she takes it for granted that she keeps getting pregnant as soon as she wants to (her third in 5 years)....sigh.

This past spring when my 16 YR OLD COUSIN had her son.

Unfair. Then her drugged out of his mind brother and his girlfriend had their baby last night.

When my brother's g/f (now wife...) found out she was pregnant.

And every time in their very unstable relationship that they've broken up, gotten back together, yelled and cussed in front of their baby, she calls the cops on him for no reason, he moves out, ect.

As terrible as it is, I've had too many moments to remember... I think my first was a friend getting pg... Then I started talking to her for real and they'd been trying for 7 months with some difficulties. It was obviously easy to be happy for her then Smile

. But I still have them... A friend last night announced on FB she's KU and it was a "surprise"... I was up until 3am b/c the whole thing just made me sick with jealousy...

When DH's cousin got pregnant last year I was ridiculously jealous. She is the same age as me, but not married and the father was a guy she was only casually seeing. Obviously, not the ideal situation for her, but all I could think was how badly I wanted DH to be ready for us to start trying and there she was pregnant without even wanting to be. However, her baby is adorable, so I just suck up all the time I can with him when we see them!
