Will you be using one?
I cant help but wonder why this is such a big deal. When i was born there were no car seats and my mom held me in the car. A lot of kids survived this way, so why NOW is there such an emphasis on car seats and safety devises?

Like you said, I don't see the point--I was never put in one and nothing happened to me. I usually make a nest of blankets for B in the wayback, unless I need to nurse her, and then I just hold her in my lap.
I figure that I can just hold her on my lap... that's how my cat rides in the car. Or I could strap her into the front seat so I can keep an eye on her. I'm sure I can figure out some sort of device to keep her from rolling around until she's big enough for the seatbelt to hold her down. Hey, it was good enough for us right?

I think I will just lay our baby in the base part of the seat. It looks nicely curved, and she should just fit right in there. I also had the seat inspected, so I should be good to go.

I don't really like the look of roof straps so I thought about using velcro or some Command strips to attach LO to the roof,
