More Tuscaloosa Treasure Hunt deals!

I ran by Treasure Hunt today just to see if I saw anything I might want, and I was pleasantly surprised to find Sealy crib mattresses at 40% off. I ended up buying a Sealy Cozy Rest mattress and a Graco Pack n Play "Tango in the Tongo" for $78 before tax!

I'm still eyeballing the car seats and strollers, too. They still have several of the Britax seats, and I think I spotted a Graco Snugride in there, as well as a Chicco Keyfit. Any recommendations on this, moms? Or should I wait and trust that someone will buy us this at one of our showers (we hopefully will be having three).

We had three showers but got lots of clothes, blankets and giftcards. I would say if the carseat or stroller is the one you want and a good deal, go for it now. Also, I would check amazon.com for reviews or check the book baby bargains. I have a 2008 copy if you want to borrow. It reviews all baby products.

Yeah, I think I'm going to talk with DH about the car seat and stroller deal and see what he thinks (which would probably be a good idea, regardless!). The ones I mentioned are actually all ones that scored an 'A' in Baby Bargains (another friend let me borrow a copy to keep until we are done registering). They still had a ton of them left, so I might wait a few weeks to see if they get marked down any more.
