bottle help-4oz vs 8oz

Our baby girl will be FF and I'm wondering if I should even bother getting 4oz bottles since they use them for such a short amount of time. We're using Dr Browns and I'm wondering if I should just get 8oz bottles since we'll get more use out of them. Thoughts?

    We had a few 4 oz that we got as gifts but only kept 3 and returned the rest. She was taking 5 oz after a few months so we ended up with a lot of 8 oz bottles.

    The only time we used bottles smaller than 8 oz was when I was EPing and using the bottles that came with my pump, and that was maybe for the first month and a half.  To me, it's just a waste of money to buy smaller bottles because you only use them for such a short time.

    Even when DD was taking 4 or so oz at a time, I often used 8 oz bottles because I had a lot of them.  I don't see any reason to stock up on the smaller ones.

    We had 3 of the 4 oz ones, and we only used them for a month. We dumbly only bought up one size, and then had to buy up again... If we were smart, we would have just got the biggest ones they have and used those from the start.

    I use the Dr. Browns wide neck ones and I had to go buy a bunch of 8 0z ones so I would definitely go with the bigger ones.
