Please save me from this simple question.

Slope.

I know the rise over run part.

if my answer is 0.55, what does that mean?? Is it a %? or an angle? or how do I get those?

This is supposed to be the easy part lmao.

    slope is y divided by x.  Yours is close enough to one half, so y=1, x=2.  On a graph your line will go up one unit ever time it moves to the right 2 units.

    Well when ya put it THAT way, it makes perfect sense!

    Cheryl, you are a good teacher, because I now understand slope.  And I am hopeless at math.  I think I can go to sleep now that I've learned my one new thing for the day!  Smile
