in Trying to Get Pregnant
This is my first month ttc. I spotted once two days ago and nothing since. red then quickly to brownish but very light. AF is not due for another week. I have not been on bc and have never spotted this early before. I want to go by a basal thermometer and OPKs for next month but should I wait?

    I would wait till you get your period and then buy them. You wouldn't use them till after your period anyways.

    Ditto. And spotting mid cycle could be for a number of reasons. How many Dpo are you?

    I would wait and start after AF.  I have pretty much the exact symptoms you do, and my Dr. dx me over the phone after literally a 30 second conversation with a slight luteal phase defect and prescribed me progesterone. I am not comfortable taking it without having my levels checked (plus, I don't think he's right), so I am finding a new Dr. and in the meantime I am going to start temping to try and figure out what's up.  I have been using OPKs for the past 5 months or so.  Good luck to you!

    I haven't told ANYONE! I am waiting for my husband to get off work and come home at 6am. Good thing i waited because I got two BFP today! I made a shirt for our dog to wear that says I'm a big brother. I am sorry but I had to tell someone somewhere.

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

    bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

    bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks
