inserts as liners?

I think this may be a silly question- can I use the inserts from my pocket's in my covers? My sister said no- as it will cause diaper rash? I have tons of covers and tons of pockets...and only one prefold liner... TIA! :-)

Not if they are microfiber. You don't want microfiber directly next to a baby's skin because it will suck all the moisture out and could cause irritation. I personally wouldn't use anything but a Snappi'd prefold or a fitted in a cover for a newborn, because otherwise the poop will get everywhere!

Don't put microfiber against the baby's skin. Natural fibers (cotton, hemp) you can.

you want to stick with the prefolds, Toys R Us/Babies R Us had some on clearance last time we were there
