Therapy appt. scheduled

I caved and called a therapist.  My 1st appt. is 10/12 and I'm sooooo looking forward to it.  I just want to get back to feeling normal and not thinking about TTC ALL the time.  Furthermore, just because I'm getting help elsewhere does not mean that you ladies are off the hook for being my other support. LOL

    Congratulations! That is a big step! I am sure you will be feeling much better soon. It is always nice to have an outsider to talk to. Helping yourself is very important! Good for you! :)

    I think that's great and it takes a lot of courage!  I haven't seen a therapist for IF specifically, but I have during other difficult periods in my life and it was always very helpful.  It's nice to get sound advice from someone that is emotionally healthy/mature and impartial.  Good luck and let us know if he/she says anything profound or super helpful Stick out tongue

     And can I just say, I love your siggy pic - that is f'ing hilarious!!!

    7/6/10 : Clomid 50mg + Ovidrel + b2b IUI + Crinone = BFN
    8/4/10 : Clomid 50mg + Ovidrel + b2b IUI + Crinone = BFN
    8/31/10 : Clomid 50mg + Ovidrel + IUI + Crinone = BFN
    9/28/10 : 75 IU Gonal F (Days 3-9) + Ovidrel + IUI + Crinone = BFN
    10/24/10: 75 IU Gonal F (Days 3-10) + Ovidrel + IUI + Crinone = BFN
    11/20/10: 150 IU Gonal F (Days 3-7) + Ovidrel + IUI + Crinone = BFN
    January 2011: Laparoscopy found Stage IV Endo
    March 2011: Second Lap to remove Endo
    Moving on to IVF August/September 2011

    Good for you!  I had already been seeing a therapist for PTSD, and it was very helpful and comforting to be able to discuss IF issues as well.  I hope you have a great appt!

    FYI - you don't always click with the first person you meet, so if you don't like them just keep trying until you find the right person to help you.  It's so worth it once you find that right relationship.

    That's great! I hope you feel better soon. 

    DH and I started counselling a couple of months ago and it has been really good for our relationship.  I already feel better.

    TTC since August 2009
    June/July 2011 - IVF #1 - Transfer cancelled due to OHSS
    23 perfect embryos. All 23 made it to freezing!
    September/October - FET #1 - October 12th - 2 Grade A embies
    October 20th - BFP??! EDD - July 1, 2012
    Beta #1 = 154, Beta #2 = 352 Beta #3 = 3,800
    U/S #2 - November 14th = 133 bpm! U/S #3 & 4 - November 30th and December 7th = 163 bpm! U/S#5 - January 30th - TEAM PINK!!!
