if you got your DDs ears pierced

and they were uneven, do you think you'd have to pay again?  DD jumped a bit, even though i was holding her the way I was told, so the 2nd ear is a bit lower than the 1st.  I said something right away and they said it was just hanging out low, but its not.  I called today and they said let it close then I can have it done again in a few weeks.

I tend to think they'll make me pay again but my mom and sister and saying it was their mistake so they shouldn't.  It was $40, so my mom was saying if they charge me atleast it will only be $20, but it was a kit so I'm wondering if they'll charge me the full amount.  If this keeps happening it would get very costly, WDYT?

    Usually you pay for the EARRINGS you picked out (at least in my experience).

    I'd call and ask them what they think before just showing up!?

    I think they will have to use a new pair of earrings for sanitary reasons but I don't think you should pay. I would speak to someone in charge before going. The person who did Juliana's did them a littel higher up because he said they drop a little over time.

    The place I got it done at charged me for the earrings [which were $150 because my mother insisted she needed real diamonds] and they told me if they turned out to be uneven 3 weeks after that they'd re-do them for free.

    I had to with DD#1's.  I can't say if it was pierced low or she just had a weird growth spurt afterward but within a few months, the left side was almost hanging off her ear.  We gave her the option of having them close up and trying again when she was older if she wanted and just letting the one side close up and re-piercing it.  (She was older than your DD, obviously.)  Anyway, she wanted it redone right away so we gave it a few weeks (5 or 6?) and then had that side redone.  We did have to pay again b/c you pay for the earrings not the piercing, but it wasn't too expensive and she was excited to have blue ones and pink ones.
