Hello ladies and happy Thursday to ya!

I have nothing to share. I can't run anymore until I get some new running shoes. My feet/legs are killing me from my Tuesday run. I hope to pick up some Brooks running shoes tomorrow. I could do another night of Yoga Meltdown, there is still time for me to make up my mind.

  • Ran 3 miles, walked 2! I also need some new running sneakers. Of course, I'll put it off for a while and then really get some sore feet.

    Good job Lyse! Don't put off getting new shoes too long. I have done some real damage to my legs. Grrrrr! I almost bought a pair Saturday,and I am kicking myself in the arse now.

  • I have been so bad! No motivation, still in vacay mode. But considering all the food I ate, I need to dig deep tomorrow morning and make it to my step class!

  • I'm slummin it today :( It was rainy and yucky so that was my poor excuse LOL But my legs are killing me too - not like the normal "I worked out too much" ache but slightly sharp pains up my calves with occasional weak knees...When I run it only hurts when I stop....Gonna try some calcium and potassium, and def new sneaks :) Any other ideas??
  • I went crazy at the gym tonight...just had the energy so I decided to take a power yoga class and then Body Step, which is step aerobics on crack! It's a very high impact step class that kicked my butt tonight!

  • Hi all! Sorry if I'm crashing this thread, as I only started posting here this week and I haven't done a "workout check in" before. I ran two miles tonight, followed by a round of pushups and situps. I was thinking about "cooling down" with some Yoga but I'm not really a great runner and that about did it for me. Still, I did get out and run so I'm feeling pretty proud of myself...

  • Yay all who exercised.  I'm trying the "Couch to 5K" to improve my running endurance.  I did a run/walk combo of 1.5 mile run and 1.25 mile walk!

  • This is really late, but I did an hour group bootcamp workout. It was legs and cardio. I'm gonna be sore tomorrow!

  • Totally thread crashing (but probably joining now!) but I slept through my alarm yesterday and didn't run before work :( BUT I did run 5 miles when I got home!

    Andddddd that will never happen again, but I'm proud of my self!!

  • Last night I did 30 minutes (2 miles) on the elliptical.
