SO/DH clicky poll

If you could give your DH/SO an ability, either forever or from now until around 1 month after birth, what would it be?  And please add on if I've not included yours!

Oh, heavens no!  You just have to write the rest out.  LOL!

  • I voted ESP -- there are just some things he should know/sense without me having to spell it out!!! haha.

I also wish he would be a more confident parent. He is so amazing with DD, but because I'm home with her all day he just expects me to have an answer for everything.

Lucky for me he is obsessive about cleaning - I am a pretty clean person, but not to his standards. He does all the dishes and cleaning. He also loves to cook, and is really good at it... I still cook 70-80% of the time though.

  • How about the ability to stay awake for 24hrs without feeling tired?  That way I can get a nice nap and/or 8 hours of sleep and he can help with baby.  Or how about shiit money.  That would be cool too :)

OK, THAT would be awesome!  Then I could hire a maid & a cook, and pay someone for house repairs!  Wink
  • Cooking and cleaning. Cleaning he isn't bad at, but his skills in the kitchen are seriously lacking. I don't require gourmet meals, but Kraft Dinner for the next bunch of months ain't gonna cut it dear.

  • Totally tool use/home repair. The men in my family all work construction, but DH is clueless. I have to do all the home repair around here myself or call my dad or brothers. It's so odd for me, what I think of as a typical 'man's role' DH is completely incapable of fulfilling. Yes, it's nice he does laundry and dishes instead (my dad would NEVER be caught doing any of this 'woman's work') but sometimes I wish he could handle some of the bigger stuff instead.
  • A better imagination and more leanings towards roleplay Devil

  • Superb massage skills, PLUS the desire to rub me all over at least twice a day -- these skills are no good if he just doesn't feel like puttin' them to good use!!

I feel like if he could choose, the ESP would be a winner.

  • Definitely ESP -- if he could read my mind, like would be MUCH better. ;)

  • DH already has the cooking skills, tools/handyman skills, bedroom skills, and the occasional willingness to clean, so I had to go for massage skills. He works with his hands all day, and they cramp up at night when he tries to massage me. :(
