Suggestions for anniversary dinner

Hi!  Hubby and I are celebrating 5 years soon.  We want to go to a nice dinner.  I'm thinking somewhere near the Stone Oak area.  Any suggestions?

    I've never eaten out in that area, but sometime after dinner my hubby and I love to go to Copa Wine Bar up on Stone Oak. The owner Jeff is awesome and the staff is very knowledgeable.

    LOVE Wildfish!! My husband and I have been going to the Eddie V's in Austin and Wildfish in SA for over 10 years now.  Call ahead for a reservation.  Tell them you will be celebrating (never hurts for them to know), and totally order the Godiva Chocolate cake for dessert.  My husband has had everything on the menu, but my favorite is the Snapper!! Have a great evening and Happy 5th anniversary!!

    DH and I really enjoy Roaring Fork (next to Wildfish, both Eddie V's restaurants) and Silo.  Chama Gaucha (Brazilian steakhouse) and the Melting Pot (fondue) are also some fun choices!

    You have lots of options! Besides the ones mentioned, Watermark Grill, Pavil (one of my favs- also next to Wildfish and Roaring Fork) Fredrick's Bistro (Huebner and NW Military) Paesano's...

    I would go to Silo if you're looking for something in SO. If you're willing to drive just a bit, I think that Bin555 on Bitters (just west of 281) is a cool anniversary spot too. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of roaring fork or wildfish - I think they're very overpriced and the food doesn't live up to it. I'd rather spend a bit more and eat somewhere like Biga on the Banks or Bohanan's (which are both downtown) where you get much better food and definitely much better service.

    Thanks for all the great suggestions!  We decided to try Bin555.  I love tapas-style food; we used to do that when we were dating and I lived in Houston.  Then we're going to go to a bar with actual adults!!!  I haven't had an adults night out in over a year, and I can't wait.  We're getting a hotel room and having my inlaws come babysit.  My 2 month-old isn't sleeping through the night and the 2 year-old wakes up really early.  And finally, we're meeting friends at the Texas Exes game-watching party the next morning.  I cannot wait!!!  Thanks again!  :)

    I know you decided on something else, but you have to try the Roaring Fork.  It's amazing.  the shrimp and grits is awe-some!
