Okay, so I'm 34 weeks tomorrow and since last night at about 7pm I've had HORRIBLE cramps. It was still pretty bad this morning so I called the doctor and went in to be monitored. The baby was fine, and I only had 2 contractions on the monitor so they said that was okay. I do have a UTI so they gave me a prescription for that and did an internal and I'm not dilating at all so they said to go home and that everything was okay.
Now, I have mucusy/dark red blood coming out (not a lot) and have still been cramping all day. They said the cramps were caused by the UTI? But I feel like I am about to start my period, just wet and horrible cramps. Nothing makes them better, I've tried walking, laying down, I've drank more water, and they are still going strong. The baby was moving a ton on the monitor but I haven't felt her much other than when we were at the doctor's office.
Should I be concerned or just let it go? I don't think it has gotten any worse, just consistant for the last 24 hours.
ETA: Sorry if there is spelling/grammar errors, I'm typing fast because I'm sort of worried..
Re: Is this normal?
If I were you, I'd call the Dr. or even L&D, they can tell you whether your symptoms are "normal" or not...better safe than sorry!!
You know your body best...
You went to the Dr today, where they gave you answers, so I am unsure what you need us to tell you. If you are still concerned, call your Dr.
Or just wait for Rochella...she'll probably have 3-4 paragraphs about what could be going on
OH MY GAWD you crack me the eff up.
This is what I would do.
