NTTCR - Cutting off my "wedding" hair today!

Yeah I am totally bored at work.

Chopping off my hair tonight! I grew it out (below my shoulder blades) for about a year. I wanted to cut it this summer but sucked it up and purchased more hair bands so I would have some hair to curl for my wedding. Glad I did! But now I want it gone. Gone!

I always told myself I wouldn't do the whole cutting off my hair as soon as the wedding is over but oh well. I made it 5 weeks, that's something, right? hehehe

    I made it nearly a year before chopping mine off... DH begged me to keep it long so I did for as long as possible... it's still just touching my shoulders... but I got 5 or 6" wacked off to get there

    Testing - Me ok, gluten issue? DH - borderline count, low motility
    4/28/11 IUI#1 = BFP!(5/25), EDD 2/2/12 - m/c 5w3d
    7/3, 7/31, 9/25 - IUI#2-4=BFN
    IVF#1 - 1 blast = BFP!! (12/30), EDD 9/9/12, confirmed c/p 4w2d
    FET#1 3/2/12 - 2 blasts =BFP!! EDD 11/18/12, us#1 = twins! Confirmed m/c 5w6d
    4/20-surprise BFP and another c/p 4w2d
    FET#2 7/16/12 - 2 blasts = BFN
    FET#3 8/20/12 - 1 blast - BFP!! Beta #1-2=177, 354
    1st u/s 5w6d, one beautiful little HB :), 2nd u/s 146bpm
    baby girl born 5/10/13

    TTC#2 since 12/17/2014, Cycle 8
    Repeat Testing...FSH=12, AMH=3.8, AFC=28. 
    IUI#5 5/10/15- c/p?
    IVF#2 8/19/15 - cancelled due to cysts
    IVF#2 take two 10/2015 - 5 blasts frozen
    FET#4 12/11/2015 - BFN - 4 blasts remaining
    FET#5 2/18/16 - BFP!!!  Beta1-3, 126, 250, 745!!

    I took me almost a year, I had planned on cutting it before we were engaged and then when we got engaged I continued to grow it out. After the wedding I waited about a year so my roots would be long enough to cut all the dye out...so now I have a longer pixie style cut and I love it!

    I called DH this morning while he was driving to work and asked if he said goodbye to my hair before he left. lol! I had my hair short before and he liked it then so he is ok with it. All he asked was I didn't chop it off the morning after the wedding like a friend of ours did. She went to cut off 14" right before boarding the plane for their honeymoon!

    GL! It's fun chopping it off, I went from halfway down my back to chin-length after we got back from the HM. I actually kind of miss that short hair now that it's long again....hmm.....

    Fun! I love chopping my hair off, but everyone tells me to keep it long. So I went with bangs instead. Good luck :)

    aw! Good luck! I think I made it about a month and a half until I chopped it all off after growing it out for 2 years ughh When I told DH I was going he said "Don't be surprised if I don't love you anymore." haa. He likes the shorter hair better now. :)

    Cutting it has been all I've been talking about for the last week! ha! I just cant wait to spend 5 minutes with the hair dryer not 30 like I do right now. Yuck! So sick of it.

     No =(. I am a few inches short of that. I was going to try to hold out through the winter but I just cant handle the blow dry time any longer.

    I'll be chopping mine in about a month or so.  I'm waiting until I have enough to donate and then it is gone.  I donated my hair right before I got engaged, and I've been growing it since.

    TTC since 2010

    lots of IUIs and 1 IVF all BFNs

    FET currently on hold

    OOOHHH Im jealous.  I was going to do it over the summer but the summer got away from me and Im dying to cut it.  I donated 10 inches a couple years ago and I think Ill beable to donate the same this time. 

    Have fun getting it all chopped off!

    I chopped off 13 inches about a month after I got married! My hair is now about an inch above my shoulders and I LOVE it!
