I am on provera, and taking my last pill tonight. Ive heard there are blood tests that should be done before going on clomid and i am wondering what they are. My doc rx'd clomid, but i dont know what blood tests they took when i had my blood drawn last week. What questions do i ask my dr? Sorry this might be a dumb question, but im just scared and nervous. Thanks in advance!

    Which testing?  All the initial infertility testing or just the baseline testing?

    your cd3 testing includes FSH, LH and E2.

    Also ask when you need to have SHG and HSG to make sure your tubes are clear and there are no uterine abnormalities.  And make sure they will monitor you with ultrasounds and bloodwork to make sure there are any bad side effects from clomid.

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I would recommend you call the dr's office tomorrow and ask them what tests they took from you.

    Also, it's nice to see another groom in a kilt!!

    thanks ladies! Your info has been helpful! Ill call my dr again tomorrow, she didnt get back to me today. :(
