So my SIL and her fiance area always asking when we're having kids, when we avoid the question... they then ask, wait, are you trying now... its pretty bad and they're not getting a clue. They ask in public, in front of my evil MIL who really its NONE of her business... Its been hell with how many times we've been asked. Not to mention the fact that we're not close to them at all, so its a really awkward question for them to ask about our sex life... They treat us like crap, so I'm really not about to go to them about my personal life. Their entire wedding planning for us has been misery
Anyways, I couldn't find a good "lingerie shower" card at hallmark for SIL's shower tonight. But... I did find a good wedding card as a good stubstitute:
Outside: "Remember how everyone was always asking, "so when are you getting married". Well, no one will ever bug you about that ever again."
Inside: "So, when are you going to have a baby?"
Dear SIL who treats me like crap... its now your turn. DH and I are no longer the only "married" children in the family. Now you get to know what it feels like. See, it isn't such an appropriate question now is it?

Just so you know it doesn't stop after you have one. I get "When are having another one?" all the time. It's like they can't help themselves.
I love my MIL but she was asking so much the first time around I told her that I wouldn't have one if she kept asking.
Brilliant.
We did get a wedding card kind of like that, but it was a complete joke from my younger sister's brother. So, in that case, it was funny. Hopefully no one would ever give that card it a non-vengeful/humorous way...
Ugh, I'm hoping that the pressure is off with SIL getting married. MIL hates me anyways...
