Weight Gain?

So I just got back from the Dr and I've only gained 2 lbs in the past 5 wks...That makes 7 lbs total from my pre-pregnancy weight and 10 lbs total from the post-puking weight. The Dr didn't seem concerned but it seems a little low to me. However, I was overweight when I started so maybe I'm doing just fine?

    As everyone is told with this concern...if the doctors not concerned why would you be?  I was slightly overweight to begin with also and haven't gained anything yet.  It's fine.

    I wish I was that lucky!  I was also overweight to begin with.  My Dr. told me to gain 0 - 12 lbs.  Know what sucks?  I'm up 32.  Oh well - hopefully I don't put on too much more.  If your doc isn't worried - I wouldn't be

    Im 34 weeks, and STILL under pre-pregnancy. And I didnt have bad morning sickness etc.. so there wasnt a loss from puking.

    As long as baby is growing its not a big deal at all.

    So seeing as im a newbie I go to the bump community glossary often. In the glossary it says AW- attention wanted, but am I correct to assume that it actually means Attention Whore? just trying to learn=)

    you are correct. It's not always bad to be AW sometimes....but when it's over and over every time you post...yea not so much.

    you are correct. It's not always bad to be AW sometimes....but when it's over and over every time you post...yea not so much.

    I've only gained 6 lbs so I'm right there with ya. but I'm stoked about it! :) I gained 26 with DS and lost it all but had more weight to lose and ended up getting pregnant again...

    If your dr. isn't concerned, then why are you?
