Measuring big??

Hey everyone, just got back from my 33 weeks appt and am now measuring 36 weeks. Anyone else measuring big? My doc hadn't measured me since about 28 or 29 weeks. He said I was right on then, but this time it was his NP who measured. Any thoughts?

I was in the exact same position (36 at 33), but then I stayed right around 36 for 3 weeks. Just hit 37 at 37. The dr measured me every time, said everything was fine and growing normally, and that it wasn't an issue. Hope that eases your mind a bit!

I have the same question. I had my 30 week appointment and I was measuring 37! I am only 5'3'' and she ( my midwife) told me it could be because I am short or that I just have a long baby. the past two visits I have been measuring ahead. I do not have GD and I have gained the right amount of weight. It could just be the way the baby is laying.

Measuring big is better than measuring small, right?? Don't worry...you are fine!? The measurements aren't exact.? Also the baby goes through grow spurts.

FWIW, I measured 36 at 30! :0)? But I tend to have large babies anyway.

At 35 weeks I was told I was measuring at 33. At 36 weeks I was told I'm measuring at 38. Who knows whether any of this is the least bit accurate! In my case, no one seems concerned.

Thanks ladies! You all eased my mind. Just this Saturday my DH and I noticed that I have dropped a bit and look much bigger. It probably is a growth spurt! Thanks again!

I was just told today at my 30-week appointment that I'm measuring big. At my 28-week appointment I was measuring right on schedule, and at my 24-week appointment I was measuring big. I think that measurements can just be off. They scheduled me for an ultrasound in two weeks to check baby's size.
