Jeez! That was fast! In anycase I was about to respond to Catahoula and Pinkwoman:
Yes that is me! This year Im hosting a pirate themed murder mystery dinner so Ill dress as a tavern wench (Im a bartender so its kindof ironic hehe).
PS! If you need any decorations for Halloween the Dollar Tree is the place to get them! Quality stuff at a quarter of the price. Im in love!
Re: The bump gods are on it today!!! (Catahoula and Pinkwoman)
Aww! lol I think that's actually really cute! The only reason I even thought to do Alice Cullen is because everyone tells me Ashley Greene is my Doppleganger. (I dont see it that much, but I guess there is a small resemblance). The rest of the costume was actually pretty easy. A loss peasant shirt, a cardigan, leggings, flats, and a choker. Add some fangs so people actually get it (I know she doesnt have fangs, but it made sense to add them), thrown on some pale make up and badda bing!
Here is our pic. I could not get my hair to curl like hers, and DH doesn't have any hair!! Other than that, we had fun with it
AHH! I love it!! You guys did a great job!!
::butting in:: So cute!
Daisy-
Yeah... I chopped it all off but the costume was about as much as a loved it for:( In the process of growing back out now. It's finally long again. Short hair looks great on my, but only it it's super funky spikeyish. DH doesnt like that style so it was back to long for me lol. Plus i figured I could only get away with super long hair for about 5 more years anyhow.
ETA: Here is Karaknr with super short Alice hair from several years ago. I LOVED it like this. But eh, oh well...
I really love it! I'm sure it looks great long too though. I go back and forth. The only thing that has been stopping me is the fact that I hate doing my hair everyday and if it's short I would be forced to!
Yep!!! With long hair I can just throw it up into a pony tail. When I really want to do it up it takes a bit longer, but I think it's more diverse. With the short hair I could only do it one way all the time. It got old after a while and you ALWAYS had to do it. The one good thing about this cut was that it actually wasnt hard to style at all, but you DID have to style it.
Blow dry it, a little hair wax and a straigtener and I was done:). But a pony is still quicker haha.
