Drying plastic-backed bibs

I wash everything before we wear/use it and was washing the baby blankets & clothes. I got to the bibs and half are all fabric but half of them have a plastic/rubber coating on the back. Can I put them in the dryer or do I have to hang them to dry? On the same note, we have a plastic mattress cover. I'd imagine putting that in the dryer would be a bad idea.

    I always put all of those bibs on a hanger right above the dryer.  They dry quickly with the residual heat from the dryer and are usally dry by the time the rest of the clothes are dry.  With our mattress cover, i think it said do not dry, so we hung it on some chairs

    i dry the bibs and havent had a problem. i probably wouldnt dry the mattress cover though.
