Similac recall... HELP!

Found a list of the recalled lot numbers, but where is the lot number on the can? Is it the number printed on the bottom?

Sorry, I'm a newbie... haven't had to deal with recalls before and just want to make sure I get this one right!

Yes, the printed numbers on the bottom of the can.

yes, the numbers are on the bottom of the can but make sure you have an updated list? they first recalled many lot numbers, only to narrow it down to a certain batch and lifted the recall on some lots. you can go to the website to check out the lot numbers or you can call similac and have a rep check the lot numbers out for you. lots of luck!

This. And pretty much every powdered can has been recalled. The pre-mixed is fine.

Mine were OK... They were a 12.4 oz can, when the website says it was 12.9 oz cans that were in the recall... didn't mention anything about 12.4 oz but I read through the whole list.

These were sent to my sister in the mail (not sure why, her DS is 2), so maybe it's a special size and therefore OK? I dunno... but yeah, we're safe!
