the age old debate... Woombie Vs. Miracle Blanket

What do you guys think? I'm going to get one today because I cannot go through another night of her breaking free...

    I don't know if the Miracle Blanket has multiple sizes, but if not, my baby is getting too big for his and he is two months.  Actually, I want to go get him a new one today.

    How big is your babe? My LO is on the tiny side but I want to get my money worth.. she is just about 10 pounds now.

    We have 2 miracle blankets, and my DS is also getting too big. He has got to be close to 11lbs now.

    I will need to find something bigger soon.

    I have both... I like that the Woombie is easy to use and comes in different sizes to grow with your baby, but my LO doesn't like it very much.  I got the convertible one, and he can sometimes sleep with his arms out...but what we need most is the arms to be wrapped.  The Miracle Blanket is great for keeping the arms wrapped up, but only comes in 1 size.  My LO is about 13 lbs now and still fits in his MB.  RIght now we switch between the MB (during the night) and SwaddleMe (during the day for naps since he can break free of it much easier and naps are usually shorter anyways).  HTH

    We have the Woombie and really like it.  I actually just ordered the convertible one to start weaning DS from swaddling now that he can roll over from back to front on occasion.  It's super easy to use and he can move just enough to satisfy himself but not wake himself up.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.. I am really torn so, I think I might get both and try them out and then return one if it doesnt seem to fit her right... she really LOVES her hands now and she eats them all night so I need to get her all snuggled in!

    I prefer the MB. I've tried the woombie and it was the front runner before we tried the BM. LO is teeny- 6 lbs 11 oz at 3 weeks and there's plenty of room for him to grow in the MB. I don't like how the woombie allows him to still keep his hands up by his face (which makes bottle feeding tough at night) and the neck seems SO TIGHT! I'm always afraid it's strangling him or making him uncomfortable. But I'm not thrilled by the concept of basically tying his arms to his sides. Too bad it works so well.

     It's possible to make a homemade MB, someone posted a Youtube link the other day, here's another similar type of swaddle.
