I guess I'm weird and antisocial, because I only talk to my mom on the phone about once a week, but it can be more like two weeks.
I text with my sister all the time, though. I have a great relationship with my parents, I am just kind of private sometimes, and prefer to not talk to anyone...I think that sounds weird, but I don't feel like I'm intentionally shutting people out, I think they feel that way, though.
Re: How often do you talk to your family?
My mom and I talk everyday. My sister and I talk probably 3 times a week. My dad and I talk about once a week.
Part of that is my family all lives far away. I would talk to them less often if I also got to see them from time to time.
I'm the same way. I generally don't like talking to people.
I see one of my sisters probably once a week, Skype with the other one once a week, and talk to my mom maybe once a week.
My mom has to remind me to post pictures of Jack on Facebook so she can see him once in a while, because I'm just so in my own world, I don't even think about things like that.

I talk to people on birthdays, when I get pregnant, when I have a baby, when tragedy occurs, on holidays, or if one of us has something important to ask/say that can't be taken care of over text or email. Sometimes one of my brothers and I will have a random hour-long conversation, but that hasn't happened in a while.
I hate the phone.
I talk to my mom usually 2 times a day on the phone and see her about every 2 days.
I talk to my dad at least through text once a day
and my sister I talk to all day through text.
Meh. I can go a few days without any convo with them and often go weeks without actually "talking" to them but my mom and my sister email me at work almost daily or every other day.
I usually talk to my sister on the phone once a week or see her once a week. They are about an hour away (both of them).
My inlaws on the other hand...we may talk to once a month if they call us. If they didn't call us,I doubt we would talk at all other than a comment once a weekon facebook. LOL
I talk to my mom on the phone usually 2-3 times a week. But we email each other at work at least once a day.
I don't call my sisters very often just because I am not really a phone person. We get along well though and usually just talk on facebook.

I talk to my mom way too much. I am trying to distance myself, but with Allie it is pretty hard. My dad and brother I talk to a few times a week. My oldest brother I talk to twice a week, sometimes more. Everyone (aunts, uncles, cousins) calls about once a week to check in on use. It is rather annoying. I have a huge close family, sometimes smoothering.
Sounds like my life. I talk to my mother entirely too much too and it is smothering. That's why about every 6 months we have a huge blowout and don't speak until my father steps in and mediates.

I talk to my mom basically every day - usually by phone, sometimes just email if our schedules don't mesh for a phone convo.
Talk to Dad once every week or so - he's not really a phone person
Talk to my sister almost exclusively by email and not very often. She's not one for chit chat either and we're not that close.

I call my mom or vice versa 1-2 times per week. When I was in college/first married we talked every night.
I text or call my sister once every couple of months (bad sister, I know), otherwise I never hear from her.
My grandma and aunt I talk to about once a month.
I never talk to my stepmom/half-bro, or my older sister. And I'm OK with that.
DH calls both of his parents a few times a week, and his brother once every week or two.
